(Kappy’s Video Store in Washington Heights. ISAAC and IAN J. are browsing for a movie to watch that night.)
IAN J.: How about The Cell? It’s by the same guy who directed The Fall.
ISAAC: I heard that’s really scary. I don’t think I can watch it.
IAN J.: Well, you said you wanted to watch a scary movie tonight.
ISAAC: I know, but you know, I don’t want to actually be scared by it.
IAN J.: Right, I keep forgetting that your idea of a scary movie is where someone jumps out from behind a curtain, and the other person isn’t really all that scared, more just startled. And the person jumping out turns out to be the other person’s long-lost sister, and they have a tender reunion picnic.
ISAAC: That sounds like a wonderful movie. Let’s rent that.
