(ISAAC, MELANIE, CARRIE, and IAN M. are standing on the subway platform at 59th Street-Columbus Circle. A cute young guy walks by, listening to his iPod. He and ISAAC smile and wave at each other. The guy keeps walking.)
ISAAC: You guys.
MELANIE: What?
ISAAC: That was the Aloof Actor.
MELANIE: What?
IAN M.: Wait, seriously?
CARRIE: Dammit, I didn’t get a good look.
(CARRIE wanders over to casually glance down the platform, then turns and rejoins the group.)
ISAAC: Oh my god, did he see you?
CARRIE: No, he’s got his head phones on.
ISAAC: And?
CARRIE: He’s cute, but he’s wearing cowboy boots or something.
ISAAC: I can’t be held accountable for his personality.
(IAN M. and MELANIE take turns walking over and stealing a casual glance each.)
MELANIE: Oh my god, I can’t believe we saw him.
ISAAC: He’s like the Loch Ness Monster. In many, many ways.
